For Home & Societies

How much subsidy can I get for home solar?

Up to ₹78,000 for rooftop systems of 3kW and above, under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. The central government subsidy is credited directly to your bank account after commissioning, and applies to residential consumers only.

What is the OPEX model?

Under OPEX, SA2R invests in and owns the solar system on your rooftop, and you buy the power it generates at a rate lower than your electricity bill — you pay nothing upfront. After the Power Purchase Agreement ends, the system becomes yours and the electricity is free.

What is net metering and how does it work?

Net metering exports surplus solar power back to the grid and adjusts it against your electricity bill — so nothing your system generates goes to waste.

Is my roof suitable for solar?

Most flat or slightly angled rooftops with a few hours of unshaded sunlight per day work well. Our team assesses your roof's structure, shading, and orientation as part of the free site assessment.

What happens after the PPA term ends?

The solar system becomes yours once the Power Purchase Agreement concludes. All electricity generated from that point on is completely free.
